To turn things around a little, why is it that so many widows are so willing -- Nay, eager! -- to let themselves be used or, worse yet, use this tragedy in their life as naught save a springboard for their own aspirations?
"The death of one's husband is but an opportunity in disguise, my dear..." -- Or so, to some, it would seem.
