A reader wrote to me that tonight's episode of "24" made him think about what it might have been like had John Kerry won the last election. He has a point there. If anyone wants to throw in their two cents on tonight's excellent episode, click on comments. My favorite moment tonight was at the very end when Chloe did a heck of a good Dirty Harry impersonation.

i was reminded again that hillary, too, would be a disaster. she is motivated by politics, political correctness, and serving self. she's a poll addict. logan was faced with a choice last week and he chose the political one that had to do with his image. this reeked clinton!! hillary lacks the character and the willingness to do the right thing at any cost. we know that bill will be talking in one ear, too, and we find out more all the time about his incompetence, especially in foreign affairs. we cannot think for a minute that this is a package deal and a bad one if hillary was called upon to deal with the hard stuff that requires integrity and honor and overcoming the desire to politic her way out of everything and cover her rearend. she's not made up of that kind of stuff.
and what do they do? bring back palmer, a man who is willing to deal with it head on and do so with determination and lack of interest in promoting himself. jack is the main man, but i've always been a chloe-the-curmudgeon fan and knew they had to bring her back. and even though she is a geek, she was totally cookin' when she blasted the bad guy---GO CHLOE!!!!
