Viking Pundit's Amazing Race Update has been posted. I was happy to see Uchenna and Joyce come in first. The most fun of the night was Rob bragging about how smart he was messing with the other teams' heads asking them if they got the earlier flight. Ha! He even said they were stupid. That made the moment he realized they got a flight that came in two hours earlier than his all the more enjoyable -- and they had him to thank.
I really like Ron, but Kelly is pretty impossible. The other highlight of the night was when she accused him of not being able to commit to anything. When he brought up his commitment to the military she accused him of getting out of that commitment, too -- by being a POW. Poor Ron. I guess that going through the ordeal of the race brings out the worst of some people at times, but I just get the feeling that Kelly is seriously high maintenance. My four-year-old is addicted to the race now, too. We watched it when she was in the hospital for her last surgery and since then she begs to stay up and watch it each week. Tonight she couldn't get over the fact that the losers won the big prize. She said that just didn't make any sense. Considering Uchenna and Joyce came in first the past two weeks and didn't win anything, I can see her point.
