I like Chris too, but every time I see him, Vin Diesel always pops into my head. Chris is a thinner version of Vin. Jose Penela caught my eye since he sang one of my favorite songs and actually did it well (Reasons by Earth Wind and Fire). Paris is all right, but all of that moving around she does is distracting. When she finished, I thought if she calmed down a bit she would be good, but then the judges praised her for her energy. What do I know I guess. Hey Simon! Gedeon's smile scares me too.

Chris Daughtry and Ace Young are the only true competitors on AI. Taylor Hicks is fake, Elliot Yamin is too soft, Bucky Covington doesn't have a good voice. Kelly is a mini Jessica Simpson, Paris is a baby, Mandisa has too much power, Lisa just gets by, and Katharine has a bad low voice. Chris will win.

It’s been great to come across a community of people who have come together to support each other because they love Chris Daughtry’s passion and energy as much as I do. Like you and everyone who frequents this site, Chris Daughtry has been a real inspiration to me. When I first heard him sing Wanted Dead or Alive, I felt absolutely amazed by his talent and got chills hearing his voice. When I heard him do Hemorrhage, my admiration for his talent took on a new level and I felt so much passion and energy about his performances that I actually had to look within and understand more what this response was all about.

I happen to be a personal (life) coach, consultant and trainer who helps people come to an understanding of situations just like this and so I coached myself on what Chris’ performances inspired in me. This coaching led to a great deal of new awareness and insight about myself and my mission in life and ultimately led me to write an essay that explains how I feel about Chris and what I learned about myself in the process. We all know that Chris is a tremendous musician. But more than just a musical talent, Chris Daughtry represents to me a person who has found his true calling and is fearless about freely expressing his authentic self without compromise. This is a crucial lesson for myself and everyone else, and I’d really love to share my thoughts on this with Chris’ fans everywhere.

My essay can be read at http://www.systemsthinker.com/writingscreative/essays/americanidol.shtml and I wondered if you could envision helping to pass along this essay to others by posting this letter on forums and placing a link to my essay on your website and passing this along to anyone you know who might appreciate it. I hope that my essay shows another side of the Chris Daughtry story that some may not have thought about and that can impact people even more strongly than his music alone. Hopefully in the future, people will look back on Chris’ run on American Idol not just as a great musical showing, but as something that touched their lives and I hope they will look back on reading my essay as part of that.

My life and my company, Emergent Associates, LLC, are devoted to empowering and supporting people with the experiences and tools that they need to find, develop and nurture their best talents and potentials to achieve greater success in their lives just as Chris is doing. I hope by sharing this letter and this essay with your friends, family and readers, you might help them to do just this.

Best,
