This time it involves Bucky, but it is an old story.
I am really looking forward to the Queen episode tomorrow night, but am having a really hard time imagining who will sing what. I am guessing there were quite a few wanting to perform "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" since it has a pop sound. I would like to hear someone attempt "Somebody to Love." My guess is that there will be a couple of really good performances and a couple of really, really bad ones. Is anyone brave enough to take on "Bohemian Rhapsody?" I can imagine Chris singing just about anything. "Another One Bites The Dust"? "We Are The Champions"? "We Will Rock You"? "Killer Queen"? I have this CD and would bet that most of the songs performed tomorrow night will be on it.
I am guessing that American Idol would not allow "Fat Bottomed Girls" but you never know. Now THAT would be fun.

Have you heard about what caused everyone to look so shocked when Mandisa's name was announced? I was reading from another website that summarizes all of the reality shows and there was a part that was edited out after Mandisa's name was announced. A group of teenage girls yelled out the "N" word after Mandisa's name was announced. That's why Taylor stopped clapping, and everyone looked so shocked.

Fat Bottomed Girls was the very first one!
Freddy's shoes are awfully big to fill, when you have him as the standard, it's hard to live up to it...

For some reason I have not been able to post for the past 24 hours, so I will post the update I did last night here:
Bucky -- a few days ago I said that "Fat Bottomed Girls" would be a lot of fun, but didn't think American Idol would allow it. Well, they did and Bucky did a pretty decent version of it. It was definitely fun.
Ace -- I disagree with the judges. I thought Ace did a pretty good job on a difficult song, We Will Rock You. It is hard to sing a song that everyone knows so well, but I thought he did well.
Kellie -- She did better than I expected considering the song choice , Bohemian Rhapsody, (my favorite song in fifth and sixth grade, by the way), but not nearly as good as Constantine did last year with it. She did a decent job, though, and showed a different side of herself.
Chris -- I just plain didn't like that song, and I love Queen.
Katharine -- Lovely voice, as usual.
Elliott -- Sombody to Love is one of my favorite Queen songs and I really hoped Chris would sing it. I did not like Elliott's version at all. I completely disagree with the judges on this one.
Taylor -- My favorite of the night. Fun, fun, fun.
Paris -- She really did show her outstannding voice on this song, and showed a completely different side, like Kellie did. It might have been a little too heavy, though. The usual fun and joy that Paris shows couldn't get through due to the seriousness of the song, but she did show versatility.
