This is pretty ridiculous. It isn't scary like "I am afraid" scary, but more like "I think she is delusional" scary. The closeups are "eeewww" scary. Link via Drudge.

You missed the nut on that video Lori- yesterday they edited out a section where Bernhard railed about 'little freaked out, intimidated, frightened, right-wing Republican thin-lipped bitches'- lots of blogs had it, here's one: http://chezdiva.com/mac-spokes-person-says-little-freaked-out-intimidated-frightened-right-wing-republican-thin-lipped-bitch/ and I along with howevermany dozen or hundred irate girls and women used the feedback form to complain about the hate (from someone supposed to be selling the product to as many people as possible) here's the response they sent me:

Thank you for taking the time to contact Mac.
We want you to know that we have heard you. As a loyal consumer you took
the time to share with us your dissatisfaction regarding the M.A.C.
Plushglass video featuring Sandra Bernhard and we thank you. We have
decided to remove the video from the M.A.C. website.

that Sandra Bernhard's political views are not shared by our Company. We
hope that our response allays any question that you may have had regarding
our Company's intent and commitment to our customers.

I didn't miss it, I just failed to point it out specifically in the post. I did not think they would delete it so I figured readers would find it themselves.
The thin lipped Republican bitch line was not the least bit surprising to me, and while it was the political component, the closeups of that mouth just about made me sick and that is what I found most amazing, is that anyone would think that ad would ever convince anyone to buy their products.
